You can refer to our training matrices for either lab personnel or admin staff. Please note that your supervisor or professor may require you to take additional courses.
Refer to the EHS training matrices to find out if/how often your training needs to be refreshed. Log into your SPROUT account and review or download your training record if you do not remember when you completed your training last.
Unfortunately, as you have used all your attempts, EHS will need permission from your supervisor/professor to add another one. Please cc ehs.courses@utoronto.ca in your request to them.
Click “Take the Quiz Again” on the right side of the quiz page to clear your answers and reset the quiz. Submitting a new quiz will count towards this year’s training.
Individuals can register in-person courses directly through the EHS Training Registration page. Online class registration is available via direct links on the EHS Training Registration page to Quercus. In-person class registration is available via EVE.
First Aid has it’s own registration process. Visit the EHS First Aid Training site for more information.
If you do not have a UTORid, please contact your Business Officer or Departmental Administrator to obtain one.

To download your complete training record, log in to your SPROUT account and click “My Training” in either the the menu on the left side of the site, or the button at the bottom of the SPROUT landing page.
It can take up to 48 hoursfor online courses and 5-10 business days for in-person courses to appear in your training history.
If you need immediate proof of completion, please take a screenshot of your grade on Quercus. If you still do not see any updates after 7 days, please contact EHS Courses.
- Managers can view current/historic BHSAT training records via the Learning Management System (LMS). Training records in the Manager Self-Serve will no longer be updated after September 2025. Click here for LMS instructions for Managers
- Business Officers can access current/historic BHSAT training records via the LMS Dashboard. Click here for LMS instructions for Business Officers.
If a business officer or manager cannot view certain employees, please contact your local HR rep to update that employee’s information.
